Angry Amish Productions was started in 2005 by Laura Coker, who has worked in theatre and films for over 25 years. She produced Willy Russell's long running musical, "Blood Brothers", at the Whitefire Theatre in Sherman Oaks. Oct. 18-Nov. 23, 2008.
Other productions include the musicals "Is This Any Way To Start a Marriage?" in 2007 and "Liberace...back from Heaven", a 2006 ADA Award winner, at the Whitefire Theatre, and the World Premiere of Wayland Pickard's newest musical, "e-Love", at the Noho Arts Center, which opened Nov. 15, 2008.
Along with producing, Laura has appeared as an actor in numerous theatre productions. Most recently as Costanza in "Enchanted April" for the Lonny Chapman Group Repertory Theatre. Her film appearances include "Teachers" and "Irreconcilable Differences".
